Why Hyporest?

When experiencing hypoglycaemia, many people reach for sweets or sugary drinks. While these can raise blood glucose levels quickly, the sweet taste may trigger cravings for more sugary foods. In the short term, this can cause blood glucose levels to rise more than intended. Over time, repeatedly consuming more sugar than necessary may contribute to greater blood glucose fluctuations and weight gain.

Dextrose without flavour? Isn't it sweet?

No, Hyporest does not taste sweet. The unique feature lies in its dosage form: the mini tablets are coated with an ultra-thin protective film that dissolves immediately after swallowing, rapidly releasing the dextrose.

The mini tablets are swallowed whole with a small amount of liquid. This means that neither your teeth nor your tongue come into direct contact with the sugar.

Ingredients

Dextrose (81%), thickener: cross-linked sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colour: beetroot red (betanin), anti-caking agent: polyethylene glycol, rice starch, emulsifier: sucrose esters of fatty acids, colour: carmine.

Directions for use

Swallow the mini tablets whole with a small amount of liquid. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
